Present products directly in your community – with featured product
In short
Featured product in foroom lets you highlight one ablefy product inside your community. Members see it persistently in the sidebar and can open the offer in one click.
You pick a single product that fits your offer — no manual links in posts or DMs. Checkout and payment run through the direct ablefy integration.
🔍 Overview: What featured product does
Featured product is one recommended offer per community — separate from community access via a linked product.
Members find the card in the sidebar across the member area (feed, rooms, chats). They tap Open offer to reach the ablefy checkout.
Requirements
Your ablefy account is connected, the product is published, paid, and ready for sale. Only community creators can establish the ablefy connection.
⚙️ Step 1: Open the Featured product tab
Go to your foroom community and select Featured product.
⚙️ Step 2: Select and save a product
Click Select product. You see your published ablefy products — sortable and searchable.
Pick the offer you want to highlight and confirm with Select product & save.
⚙️ Step 3: Confirm your highlight
After saving, you see a confirmation with your chosen product.
Use Switch product or Stop featuring to adjust the highlight anytime.
Ready for sale and checkout
Featured product does not replace community access via a linked product. Both can work together: manage access and highlight an additional upsell.
Note
The product must be ready for sale in ablefy. The ablefy checkout from the sidebar is for community members — without community membership you cannot buy there.
👀 What members see
Once the highlight is active, the card appears in the sidebar for all members.
A click on Open offer starts the ablefy checkout — no copy-pasting links into posts or DMs.
